I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently running a private practice in Palo Alto. The majority of my practice sees me online for video appointments over a secure, HIPAA compliant two way video platform. If you are in need of in person services please let me know, but I have a limited number of in person time slots. I have a current license in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I am a member of the National Society of Clinical Social Work as well as the California

I attended school at University of California, Los Angeles, where I received my Masters in Social Welfare (MSW). Following my graduate program I worked in schools for children with severe behavioral problems and complex trauma histories. My training during my formative years as a therapist focused on family systems and complex mental illness. Throughout my career I have worked with individuals from very different backgrounds and of all ages. I have training in working with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders (substance abuse). My approach is very relational and psychodynamic and I therefore work to help my clients understand their histories and how they relate to their present problems, and then help them take the next step to identify what to do with that insight. Following my experience in schools I became a clinical supervisor for an mental health agency and helped therapists new to the field develop skills and understand their field. I now work only in private practice and see primarily adolescents, adults, couples and families in my practice.
